But you KNOW he grew up listening to Dave, playing Dave, and now he writes like Dave. He might even have Dave in the guitar-playing department, but Dave's got the band. Drums, fiddle, horns, keys....it's the full picture. I would like to hear John play with some more energy. We have his "Crash"-type songs, but no "Two-Step". (Our director cheated a little and for some shows he used a recorded voiceover of that speech in between scenes, which was awesome.) I did, however, get to say "Go to lunch.
